Nathan is the founder of Paulson Wealth Management Inc. and the creator of the 3rd Stream approach, a unique income, protection, and growth strategy. With over 20 years of experience in global business and finance, Nathan has become an expert on derivatives trading, investment advice and wealth management.

Prior to founding Paulson Wealth Management, Nathan started his capital markets career at CMT GmbH as an Options Market Maker in Frankfurt, Germany and later traded futures in Chicago. In 2004, Nathan went on to UBS Financial Services Inc., where he was the Vice President – Investments and Wealth Advisor until 2009 when Paulson Wealth Management and 3rd Stream were founded. Paulson Wealth Management utilizes a probability based investment approach, keeping the client at the center of the strategy.

Nathan received his B.S. in Physics from Wheaton College in Illinois and his MBA from Michigan State University. In addition to obtaining his Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) certification, Nathan received the MSU Young Alumni Achievement award in 2008, highlighting his outstanding service to MSU and his distinguished leadership in his career. In 2011, 2012, and 2013, Nathan was named PSN “Top Gun” Money Manager; a highly anticipated quarterly ranking that is widely used by institutional asset managers and investors.

In addition to his extensive financial background, Nathan is an active member in numerous community and charitable organizations, serving on the boards of the Lake Geneva foundation and YouthCompass International. A native of Park Ridge, Illinois, Nathan currently resides in Wheaton with his wife, Jennifer, and their son and daughter.
